1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using LightPaintPS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

LightPaintPS provides browser-based tools for creating and editing images. Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued, and the service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, technical issues, or other reasons.

3. Your files and content

You retain ownership of files and content you edit. You are responsible for having the rights necessary to use that content and for keeping backup copies. The editor may store temporary state in your browser, but it is not a permanent file-storage or backup service.

4. Permitted use

You may use the service for lawful personal or commercial image-editing work. You must not:

5. Intellectual property and open source

The LightPaintPS interface, branding, and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Components made available under open-source licenses remain subject to their respective license terms. These terms do not grant ownership of third-party software or content.

6. Third-party services and links

The service may contain third-party links or rely on third-party hosting and open-source components. LightPaintPS does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranties are made regarding uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, compatibility, or preservation of your work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LightPaintPS and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of files, data, profits, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.

9. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights.

10. Termination

Your access may be restricted or terminated if you misuse the service, create security or legal risk, or violate these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.

12. Applicable law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any mandatory consumer protections available in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
